Greetings,

On behalf of the Fayetteville Cumberland County Ministerial Council, we welcome you and thank you for visiting our website. We hope that you will find the information useful.

I greet you as the President of Fayetteville Cumberland County Ministerial Council, Inc. (FCCMC). As we know, the FCCMC grew out of the turbulence of the Civil Rights Movement when a voice for the Black community was needed, and was formed under the leadership of civil rights activist, Reverend Dr. Aaron Johnson.

It is unfortunate that after 63 years, we find ourselves still contending with some of the same issues.  However, as Dr. Johnson and FCCMC were a voice back then, we shall be AND continue to be a visible active voice now.  We stand with our community, with our Mayor, and with other leaders as we seek to bring some resolve to the current dilemma crisis in our Community.  Our motto is “A Season to Rise and Shine!” Together, we will continue to fight injustice!

We are not makers of History we are made of History!! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. History has made some deep wounds, but we are thankful that there is still a Balm in Gilead!!

The Ministerial Council has served the Fayetteville and surrounding Community for over 63 years. We promote diversity in which members actively participate in various programs throughout Cumberland County; provide scholarships to high school seniors; and host community service events. Most importantly, we strive to reach, teach, and release spirit-empowered ministers to promote evangelism, discipleship, church growth and healthy churches.

If you are new to the area, we invite you to fellowship with us and be a part of this great community in which we live!
