Apostle Georgia Walker
FCCMC, President

Apostle Georgia M. Walker is married to Pastor Jesse G. Walker; they have two children, Jessica and Matthew. She is a native of Lanett, Alabama. She is the daughter of Mrs. Lillian Smith and the late Mr. Posey Smith Sr. She is a graduate of Valley High School. She enlisted in the United States Army in 1978 where she served faithfully for 21 years and 7 months. She retired as a Sergeant First Class in April of 2000. She retired from Civil Service after 15 years and 10 months. She is a graduate of City Colleges of Chicago with an Associate’s degree in Business Management and from New Life Bible College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology (2011), Masters in Divinity (2012), and a Doctorate in Ministry (2013) and where she currently serves as the Dean of Academic Studies. 

 

Apostle Walker accepted Christ in 1984 in Neu-Ulm Germany. She has held many positions in various congregations such as, Sunday school teacher, Choir director and president, Sunday School Director, Vacation Bible School Director, Retreat Organizer and Secretary to the Bishop.  

 

Apostle Walker acknowledged her call into the ministry in June 1999 and preached her initial sermon August 7, 1999. She was ordained as a minister by the late Bishop Jobe and Bishop Hattie Lathan of True Vine Temple Reasoning Center in Spring Lake, North Carolina in December 2000 and was consecrated as an Apostle June 2009 by Apostle Mildred Stewart, Apostle Karen Evans, and Dr. Bertha Hodge.  In 2003 she and Pastor Walker stepped out in faith by the direction of the Lord and New Hope Gospel Ministries, Inc. was birthed.   

 

She teaches the Word of God with great joy and power. Her humor is disarming, allowing the listener to both laugh and cry as they are challenged in their walk with the Lord. She moves both in the Word of Knowledge and in a strong prophetic anointing.  Apostle Walker has spoken at numerous women's conferences and churches. 

 

She is a volunteer chaplain with the Fayetteville Police Department, Cape Fear Valley Hospital and with the Fayetteville Cumberland County Ministerial Council.

Pastor Gil Wise
FCCMC, Vice President

Gil grew up in Black’s Chapel Methodist, in rural Cumberland County.  The son of Jack Wise
and Louise Collier he has been a resident of eastern North Carolina all his life.  He is a graduate
of Methodist College (1983), Duke Divinity School (1988) and was awarded a Doctor of
Ministry from Solid Rock School of Theology in 2011. He has served in a variety of ministry
settings over the past thirty years.  He began as a camper at Camp Rockfish, served as a camp
counselor, camp assistant director and chairperson for the Conference Camping Commission. 
He served on Annual Conference Staff.  He served in student field setting placements at
Maysville, Hopewell, High Falls, Fair Promise, Cool Springs and Carbonton United Methodist
Churches.  He served as associate pastor of Fayetteville Community Church: a non-
denominational congregation.  He served Buie, Parkton, Zion and The Rock United Methodist
Churches before planting Solid Rock United Methodist Church in 2001. Solid Rock grew to
incorporate 4 other small membership churches in Community, Mt. Ariel, Woodland and
Spring Lake United Methodist Churches that formed a team supporting ministry to over 7,000
persons in area around Ft. Bragg. From 2013-2021, Gil served on the Bishop’s Cabinet as
District Superintendent of the Beacon District where he led 85 churches and supervised over 65
pastors.
Gil has a heart for the rural church. He has been a leader in the Duke Endowment Thriving
Rural Churches program.  It is his belief that reclaiming the movement of Methodism will
reconnect all our churches, regardless of size or location, to a calling that is still deep in our
roots.  He believes “We are living in an hour of unprecedented outpouring upon the church of
Jesus Christ that we might fulfill our calling to be a witness to the nations.”
Fulfilling a prophecy spoken over him in 1990, Gil is a part of a new move of God that is
impacting the world. He was instrumental in launching the Global Methodist Church and is a
part of leading the NC Conference of the Global Methodist Church with over 400 congregations
across the state. Gil serves as the Lead Presiding Elder of the Fayetteville District and Dean of
the Cabinet for the NC Conference. He is main role in ministry is a Local Church as the Lead
Pastor of Salem Methodist Church in Eastover.
Gil is married to Linda Trudeau Wise, also a graduate of Methodist College (1983).  She is a
retired elementary music teacher in the State of North Carolina having served for 30 years in 3
school districts across the state.  They have three children: Joel, Benjamin, Elizabeth and 3 grandchildren.

Rev. Barbara Smith
FCCMC, Chaplain

Reverend Barbara Smith, born a native of Warsaw, North Carolina, but now residing in Fayetteville, North Carolina is passionate in seeing lost souls saved, as well as individuals get delivered and set free from addictions, bondages, sickness and disease, and anything that keeps them from fulfilling their God-given purpose in life.
 
She founded Helping Hands Evangelical Outreach Ministries in 2013 which aids in feeding the
community, clothing the homeless, visiting the sick and shut-in, praying with those in rest homes and hospitals, with expanding boundaries to be and do whatever God says to do. She has one daughter who resides in Georgia. She started her career in Criminal Justice, working in the North Carolina Prison system and also working in the Mental Health field. She is attending Carolina College of Biblical Studies where she graduated with her Bachelors of Biblical Studies with honors, with a minor in Biblical Counseling. She is now pursuing her Masters of Divinity at
CCBS as well. She also aspires to do missionary work Oversees, continuing to be a mouthpiece
for God, and a light that draws people closer to receiving salvation and accepting the Savior who died on the cross for our sins.

 
She attends Solid Rock Bible Church of Hope Mills, NC, where her Pastor is Reverend
Dr. Yvonne Hodges.

Dr. Andra Yvonne Hodges
FCCMC, Treasurer

Dr. Andra Yvonne Hodges was born and reared in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She
received her formal education through the Cumberland County School System and later
obtained certification in bookkeeping. She graduated from Carolina College of Biblical
Studies the former (Carolina Bible College) in 2004 with an associate’s degree in
biblical studies; in 2006, with a B.A. Degree in Biblical Studies; and in 2007, with a
diploma in Counseling and later her master’s degree. On May 3, 2021, Dr. Hodges
graduated with her Doctoral Degree from North Carolina Theological Seminary and
pinned her first book entitled, “Pharisees and Sadducees in our Churches Today?”.

Dr. Hodges acknowledged Christ at an early age under the leadership Rev. Charles E.
Perry at Second Missionary Baptist Church, Fayetteville, N.C.

In January 2002, she acted on her calling into the ministry by preaching her initial
sermon at Second Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Ministerial Staff.
In 2006, she was ordained by the Union Missionary Baptist Association, Inc., at Second
Missionary Baptist Church. In August 2013, she began serving as Interim Pastor of
Solid Rock Bible Church in Hope Mills, N.C. She was installed as Pastor of Solid Rock
Bible Church in September 2014.
She is the wife of Deacon Frederick a. Hodges and the mother of five children, five
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dr. Hodges’ motto is, “I believe that beauties of nature come in all colors and the
strength of humankind comes in many forms. Every human being is wonderfully unique
and all of us contribute in different ways. When we learn to honor the differences, and
appreciate the mix, we find harmony.” All that I am and ever hope to be, God did it!!!

Prophetess Beverly Gibson
FCCMC, Executive Secretary

Beverly A. Gibson was born in Fayetteville, NC December 24, 1964 to Hazel Vasti (Moore) Hailey.  After losing her mother at the tender age of 4, she was raised by her Grandmother, the late Marian V. Moore and with the help of her Uncle, the late William Lloyd Moore.  After graduating from Red Springs High School in June of 1983, she attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, NC and majored in Business Administration. She attended Airline Travel School and graduated in March 1989 with honors. She also completed Real Estate School in 2006.  In August 2017, Beverly earned an Associate of Arts in Religion with Honors from Liberty University. In 2018, Beverly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Religion: Christian Counseling with Honors from Liberty University.

She have a strong passion for the men and women of God and desire to help them reach their kingdom potential.  She re-dedicated her life and accepted the call to the Ministry in June 1998. Under the leadership of Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, Potter's House Christian Fellowship, Jacksonville, FL, she served in several positions such as, Youth Minister, Usher, Greeter, Teen Minister and Trainer for the New Converts Class. Bishop quoted, “she models ministries for the New Millennium.”  While residing overseas in Heidelberg, GE from 2001-2004, she served in various positions at Jesus World Outreach Ministry (JWOC). Positions were Youth Minister, Hospitality Ministry, She also served as an Armor Bearer for many special guest and internationally renowned Gospel recording artists at the Annual “Bustin Loose Conferences,” Virtue, Cross Movement and K&K Mime.  She also served at Cumberland Christian Center Church as a Youth Teacher for ages 2-3 and 6-10 during Wednesday Night Bible Studies and Sunday Morning Service (Children’s Church).  From 2009-2012, she served as Director/Youth Pastor for Kingdom Connection Christian Center Church in Fayetteville, NC.

She was licensed and ordained an Elder to Minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the leadership of Apostle Melvin Moore and Prophetess Margaret Moore, with Kingdom Connection Christian Center Church in October 2009. She served as Armor Bearer for Prophetess Margaret Moore, Intercessory Prayer Team, and Director/Youth Pastor.  In 2012, she partnered with “Equipping the Five-Fold” Ministry, under the leadership of Apostle Elaine Murray to minister to the Un-churched and to train and assist church leaders to develop curriculum and help to guide them to walk in the power and authority of Jesus Christ.

Prophetess Gibson is anointed with the gift of Government, Administration and Exhortation, and have a genuine love for God’s people.  As a Minister of the Gospel, she teaches and equip leaders to build a strong foundation for their ministry and to walk in their Kingdom Authority.  She also travels to minister and delight in seeing God’s people get their relationships back in good standings with the Father. Most importantly, she looks forward to the signs, miracles and wonders to follow.
